31-33 Chandler Avenue (#36 The Peter Ward House -1875)

Peter Ward built this wooden Victorian home about 1875. It was later remodeled for two families. There is evidence that the small apartment in back was created by enclosing a wood shed. The old outhouse appears to have been converted into a pantry. At one time part of this house may have been used as a business office.
