- The
Longmeadow Knights Cheerleaders recently
qualified for nationals and received a bid to attend the
National High School Cheerleading Competition at Walt Disney
World in Orlando, Florida, February 11-12, 2012. They
are asking for support from local businesses and individuals
who wish to be a part of the event by sponsoring the team in
Orlando. Sponsors will receive
recognition. Check out their

- Betsy Port- a long time
town resident has started writing again for
Betsy's Corner. Check out her latest
article about the aftermath of Storm Alfred that caused
widespread tree damage to Longmeadow....
TreeCity USA.
- LCTV has produced a new
TV interview series called Living History
with hostess Kathy Grady that has been airing recently on
Channel 12. Town residents including Linda Abrams, Guy
D'Antonio, Gertrude Zancho and others who have lived in
Longmeadow for 50 years or more share their life
experiences. We have collected some of the Living
History
videos that have been posted on YouTube for
convenient viewing.

 Longmeadow is a town rich in diversity. There
are many different town groups representing the interests, cultures, and
activities of our residents.
