  • The Longmeadow Knights Cheerleaders recently qualified for nationals and received a bid to attend the National High School Cheerleading Competition at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, February 11-12, 2012.  They are asking for support from local businesses and individuals who wish to be a part of the event by sponsoring the team in Orlando. Sponsors will receive recognition. Check out their webpage for details.

  • Betsy Port- a long time town resident has started writing again for Betsy's Corner.  Check out her latest article about the aftermath of Storm Alfred that caused widespread tree damage to Longmeadow.... TreeCity USA.
     
  • LCTV has produced a new TV interview series called Living History with hostess Kathy Grady that has been airing recently on Channel 12.  Town residents including Linda Abrams, Guy D'Antonio, Gertrude Zancho and others who have lived in Longmeadow for 50 years or more share their life experiences.  We have collected some of the Living History videos that have been posted on YouTube for convenient viewing.

    The Longmeadow Chamber Music Society has a new website where details of upcoming concerts for the 2010-2011 concert season can be found.
  • Longmeadow Community Bulletin Board
    If you want to avoid standing at the local Big Y or Williams Place bulletin boards reading the latest flyers, event notices, etc., please plan to visit the Longmeadow Community Bulletin Board. Town government, school department as well as civic groups/ organizations and individuals can use this free resource. If you have a flyer or notice of interest to Longmeadow residents, please submit it for a free posting on this new electronic bulletin board.
